Every banking refund claim meant a human reading dense documents, interpreting policy, and validating by hand. Around ten minutes each. The backlog was the business.
We split the workflow into specialised sub-agents: extraction, policy interpretation, compliance validation. Each with its own guardrails. Governance stopped being a document nobody reads and became executable: every rule enforced in code, at every step, on every claim.
We instrumented every agent so we could see exactly where a claim went sideways. When a path failed, we didn’t rewrite the system. We dropped in a targeted sub-agent to catch that edge case. Reliability climbed with every trace, without ever destabilising the core.
We built evaluation suites scoring every agent on accuracy, policy adherence and consistency against a golden dataset. So “is it working?” became a measurement, not a guess. Every change was proven before it shipped. Accuracy went up, and stayed up.
